After a year-long battle with cancer, Harriet Rose Slendorn Cohen passed away on April 29, 2008.
Harriet leaves her loving husband Paul Cohen, co-founder of Gene Rosenberg and Associates and Planned Furniture Promotions, Inc., two sisters, her daughter Kathy, two beautiful grandchildren and hundreds of dear friends and business associates. To her family, friends and loved ones, Harriet was loving, nurturing and full of life. For decades Harriet has been the matriarch of Gene Rosenberg Associates and Planned Furniture Promotions, she led the company with passion, pride, compassion and dignity. Recognizing the importance of women within the company, she encouraged and nurtured them to relegate themselves to the position of management, a goal which she herself previously attained.
She will be sorely missed and her memory will be forever cherished.
